Contractor & Trades
Keystone Builders
A residential contractor that wanted to look as reliable online as they are on the job.
Project concept — designed to show an approach, not a delivered client project
The problem
Homeowners researching contractors couldn't see past work, service areas, or how to get a quote. The site felt thrown together — the last thing you want a customer thinking about a builder.
What a site like this needs to do
- Show finished work, organized by the kind of project
- State the service area plainly
- Make requesting a quote simple and low-pressure
- Look organized and careful, because that is what people are hiring
The approach
Hiring a contractor is a trust decision, and homeowners do most of that research before they ever call. They want to see finished work that looks like the project they have in mind. They want to know the contractor actually serves their area. And they want a low-friction way to start a conversation.
The old site did none of that well. Photos were scattered and unlabeled. The service area was vague. The contact page was a single email address with no context.
The concept organizes past projects by type — kitchens, additions, exteriors, full builds — so a visitor can go straight to work like theirs. Service areas are stated clearly. The quote request asks only for what is needed to have a useful first call. The visual style is deliberately calm and squared-away, because a builder’s website is a preview of how they run a job.
