Northside Strength
A strength gym that wanted serious people to take it seriously online.
Project concept — designed to show an approach, not a delivered client project
The problem
The site didn't explain the training style, the coaches, or how to start. Prospective members couldn't picture themselves there, so they didn't book an intro session.
What a site like this needs to do
- Explain the training style so people know what they're signing up for
- Introduce the coaches
- Show a schedule that is easy to read at a glance
- Drive toward one action — booking a free intro session
The approach
A strength gym lives and dies by intro sessions. Someone gets curious, books a free session, shows up, and either it clicks or it doesn’t. The old site never got people to that first step. It didn’t explain how training actually worked, who the coaches were, or what a first visit looked like.
The concept is built around that funnel. A plain explanation of the training style tells a visitor exactly what they are walking into. Coach bios build confidence. The class schedule is formatted to be readable in a glance rather than a spreadsheet. And every section points toward the same thing: book a free intro.
The visual style is bold and dark, with heavy type, to match the energy of the space.
